The SYGMA Network is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee the maintenance operations and processes of all building systems, equipment, and facilities at our Redistribution Center. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, safety, and regulatory compliance of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Determine and assign all maintenance projects to be completed within the building or property and direct the project to ensure proper completion.
- Initiate and maintain sanitation programs for the facility.
- Manage the establishment and completion of preventative maintenance schedules for all systems, equipment, and buildings.
- Prepare departmental profit plans and related budgets.
- Review and approve department expenditures within budgetary plans.
- Monitor third-party pest control providers and report any performance or regulatory concerns.
- Support the development and adherence to Sysco's waste management policies and procedures.
- Foster an environment that encourages colleague involvement and provides leadership for mutual benefit.
- Ensure all required colleague records, evaluations, and related documentation are filed in a timely, consistent, and accurate manner.
- Observe and enforce all safety rules to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Understand and comply with all applicable company policies and regulations.
- Maintain facility security requirements and implement procedures for safeguarding property and resources.
- Partner with vendors to ensure the safety, security, and access control systems are utilized in the most efficient and effective manner.
- Comply with all food safety policies and procedures as directed by food safety regulations.
- Accept additional responsibilities or special projects as requested.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must pass a functional capacity test.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Five years experience as Facilities Maintenance Manager or Facilities Engineer is required.
- Mechanical aptitude, understanding of facilities equipment and systems, considerable knowledge of electrical, ammonia refrigeration systems operations, and maintenance requirements are required.
- Energy Management System knowledge preferred.
