Senior Planning Analyst in Strategic Operations

Key Responsibilities:
Management:
- Supervise the onboarding process and daily functions of analysts, ensuring effective learning and productivity among team members.
- Guide and support teams in understanding trends and methodologies related to strategy, planning, and analytics.
- Collaborate with the Director of Planning to prioritize departmental tasks, ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Oversee relationships with external vendors and contracted resources.
- Work in partnership with hospital, service line, physician enterprise, and corporate leadership to create cohesive strategies and solutions for business inquiries.
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze diverse internal and external data sets to guide strategic decision-making based on organizational performance and market insights.
- Examine utilization trends to provide actionable intelligence that supports business development integration initiatives.
- Assess physician market dynamics to facilitate data-driven recruitment strategies.
- Assist in the development of master facility plans, including current and projected capacity assessments.
- Maintain relational databases and dashboards tracking patient utilization, physician billing, claims, and other relevant data.
- Ensure that analytics developed for planning purposes are accurately represented and comprehensible to users.
- Demonstrate expertise in utilizing dashboards, spreadsheets, graphics, mapping applications, and database software, integrating elements from various sources.
- Exhibit the ability to independently learn new software or data tools as required.
- Proven ability to work autonomously at an advanced professional level.
- Exceptional collaboration and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Deliver high-quality outputs that are comprehensive, precise, and suitable for dissemination across all organizational levels.
- Effectively communicate complex data in a clear, concise, and accurate manner, both in writing and verbally; provide written analyses that summarize data and offer strategic recommendations.
- Solid understanding of planning and market trends and intelligence.
- Master's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, or a bachelor's degree with 5 to 7 years of relevant industry experience.
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment.
