Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated OSP Network Fiber Splicer Technician to perform cable installation and maintain fiber optics. The ideal candidate will have 2-4+ years of direct or related experience, a valid driver's license, and a good driving record. Copper splicing experience is preferred, and telecom certifications would be a plus.
Responsibilities- Complete scheduled cable installations, cable splicing, fiber terminations, and other activities associated with the maintenance of cable and fiber optics systems.
- Read complex splicing install prints and test, certify, and document cable installations.
- Troubleshoot and repair minor technical problems.
- Document all fiber optic cabling and related fiber optic maintenance activities.
- 2-4+ years of direct or related experience.
- Must be willing to travel.
- Willingness to submit to a background and drug screening upon hire.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
We provide a competitive wage of $23 - $40/hour, DOE, and generous benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, 6 paid holidays, paid time off (PTO) from day one, and a family environment.
Work ScheduleThis full-time position typically works Monday - Friday from 6:30 am - 3:30 pm. Some weekend and nights may be required. Must be willing to travel.
