Responsibilities will include troubleshooting issues, managing hardware requests, and guiding users effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-level technical support and assistance.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software challenges.
- Perform minor repairs to reduce user downtime.
- Address common IT issues such as login difficulties and password resets.
- Support staff and stakeholders in leveraging IT functionalities.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment and software inventory.
- Collaborate on the implementation of new technologies and solutions.
- Oversee hardware requests and inventory levels.
- Conduct audits and reconcile technology assets.
- Organize and manage data and asset records.
- Document and categorize support inquiries.
- Escalate complex problems to higher-tier support.
- Provide daily updates and manage consumable supplies.
- Ensure professional and courteous customer service.
- Facilitate service desk support and oversee incident resolution.
Qualifications:
- Proficient general computer skills.
- Experience in enterprise IT support environments.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting hardware and software.
- Ability to quickly learn new software applications and databases.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective analytical, time-management, and organizational capabilities.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items or work in awkward positions.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Education and Experience:
- Preferred: Previous experience in IT support, asset management, or a related field.
Additional Requirements:
- Significant time spent using a computer.
- Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
