JohnsonRauhoff, a premier content creation agency situated in the picturesque region of southwest Michigan, is on the lookout for a Junior Styling Coordinator. ROLE SUMMARY:

The Junior Styling Coordinator will assist the styling team in various daily operations. This includes supporting stylists in tasks such as organizing and cleaning the workspace, managing props and sets after projects, handling purchases, and preparing items for shoots.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Stylist Assistance: Proactively support the stylists by anticipating their needs based on project schedules.
  • Ensure the kitchen area is cleaned and organized at the end of each day.
  • Assist in the breakdown of sets after project completion.
  • Manage special shopping trips and returns for clients as required.
  • Prepare and maintain soft goods as per stylist instructions.
  • Build and nurture relationships with external vendors to enhance resource accessibility.
  • Maintain open communication with the Art Director and Creative Director to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Provide support on photography sets as needed.
  • Organize and manage client merchandise during shoots and ensure proper storage post-shoot.

KITCHEN MANAGEMENT:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen supplies.
  • Ensure that refrigerators and freezers are kept tidy and stocked.
  • Regularly clean floors, counters, and shelving to maintain sanitary conditions.
  • Oversee the daily operation of dishwashers and manage waste disposal efficiently.
  • Ensure that all food purchases are stored promptly and appropriately.
  • Keep shooting bays stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Conduct research for creative ideas, recipes, and trends to support the team.
  • Effective communication is essential for success in this role, requiring daily updates with stylists and relevant team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Self-driven individual with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of retail and catalog styling trends.
  • Ability to compose visually appealing arrangements.
  • Experience in food styling is preferred.
  • Photography knowledge is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
