Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Perform engineering design, review, and preparation of contract documents.
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical oversight and mentor junior staff.
- Contract Management: Prepare and review contract documents and reports.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with design team members and provide technical support.
- Client Service: Provide client service and assist with proposal pursuits.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of related engineering experience in highway design, stormwater management, ADA compliance, and roadway construction practices.
- Skills: Proficient with AutoCAD Civil3D and Microstation OpenRoads Designer. Experience with MUTCD, AASHTO, MassDOT design requirements, RIDEM, and CRMC permitting regulations.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to collect field data and measurements, lift/move objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and perform field work in various weather conditions.
- Preferred Qualifications: Professional Engineer license preferred.
