Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Member Relationship Specialist to join our team at Chevron Federal Credit Union. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional member experiences, building strong relationships, and providing personalized financial solutions to meet the unique needs of our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional member service, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members, understanding their financial goals and objectives, and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to identify and pursue business opportunities, driving revenue growth and member engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date on credit union products and services, making recommendations to members to help them achieve their financial goals.
  • Participate in business development events, identifying sales prospects, and following up on leads to achieve individual and branch sales targets.
  • Assist members with financial transactions, adhering to policies and procedures, and ensuring accurate processing and balancing of cash negotiables.
  • Perform daily branch duties and responsibilities, including servicing ATMs and other branch operations tasks.
  • May be required to become a Notary Public based on the needs of the branch location.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a branch, call center, or other related financial services environment.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to effectively communicate with empathy, speaking and writing clearly, tactfully, and effectively in English.
  • Excellent listening skills, with the ability to reflectively respond.
  • Basic math skills, including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages using a 10-key.
  • Proficient in the use of basic applications in a Windows-based environment, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
Working Conditions

Work involves extensive use of computers, up to eight hours per day. Appropriate visual, dexterity, and other physical abilities are required. May include occasional pushing, pulling, or carrying objects weighing up to 20 pounds. Must be able to speak on the telephone.
