Hotel Contessa is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Stewarding Associate to join our team. As a Stewarding Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our Food and Beverage Outlets.
Key Responsibilities- Sort and Clean Dishes: Promptly and carefully sort soiled ware to ensure it can be properly cleaned and sanitized.
- Maintain Dish Machine: Keep the dish machine properly cleaned and filled with water to meet hotel standards.
- Operate Burnishing Machine: Ensure the proper finish on silverware by operating the burnishing machine.
- Polish Silverware: De-tarnish and polish silverware to maintain its appearance.
- Clean Kitchen Equipment: Clean kettles, tilt skillets, pots, and pans promptly and completely to enable cooks to perform their duties efficiently.
- Meet Attendance Requirements: Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Perform Additional Duties: Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the Stewarding Supervisor or Restaurant Outlets.
- Knowledge of Service Ware: Possess knowledge of service ware and how to maintain it to enhance the guest experience.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to push/pull service carts weighing up to 150 pounds, transport heavy objects through a crowded room, and grasp, lift, and/or carry goods weighing a maximum of 200 pounds.
- Effective Communication: Possess effective verbal and written communication skills to adapt to different audiences.
