POSITION SUMMARY

LIFE Pittsburgh is a comprehensive program dedicated to providing integrated care for the elderly, focusing on those who may be homebound or in nursing facilities. With a workforce of over 350 professionals, we deliver a wide range of health and social services around the clock, ensuring our participants receive the support they need.

Our dedicated health team, which includes geriatricians, nurses, social workers, and rehabilitation experts, collaborates with participants and their families to assess needs, plan services, and monitor health changes, ensuring timely interventions.


ROLE DESCRIPTION

Reporting directly to the Director of Outreach and Enrollment, this role is pivotal in enhancing outreach initiatives to elevate the organization's presence in the community and foster growth in program participation.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Formulate and implement outreach and marketing strategies, including proposals and presentations tailored for key stakeholders and potential referral sources.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing marketing and outreach efforts, providing recommendations for improvement to enhance market presence.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the target market for LIFE Pittsburgh services, including payors, providers, and competitors.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with strategically important referral sources, such as senior health organizations and healthcare providers.
  • Plan and deliver impactful in-person presentations to key referral sources, effectively communicating the organization’s mission, program benefits, eligibility criteria, and enrollment processes.
  • Organize and facilitate outreach events, including workshops and health fairs, relevant to seniors and caregivers, collaborating with Enrollment and Outreach Specialists as necessary.
  • Represent LIFE Pittsburgh at community and agency meetings, enhancing visibility and fostering partnerships to increase referral streams.
  • Engage with existing and potential referral sources to develop and strengthen relationships across diverse geographic and demographic segments.
  • Ensure compliance with position requirements, including maintaining a valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and adherence to educational standards.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

  • This position involves working within LIFE Pittsburgh Adult Day Health Centers and requires travel to various locations, including older adult residences and healthcare facilities.

  • Exceptional planning, organizational, and presentation skills are essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication, with a proactive and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and metrics effectively.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales, marketing, and outreach with proven success.
  • Experience working with the elderly population or in community-based programs is highly desirable.
