About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead and manage our operations in McCandless, PA. This is a key role for an individual who is passionate about improving the lives of persons with disabilities and has a strong commitment to community-based support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Maintain high-quality programs in accordance with the organization's mission statement, state regulations, and industry standards.
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee all operations for the region, including compliance, growth, development, budget, and workforce development.
  • Strategic Planning: Formulate and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to drive organizational growth and development.
  • Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with local, state, and governmental agencies to promote the organization's mission and services.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of professionals to ensure effective program delivery and operational excellence.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, financial reports, and other financial documents to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Grant Writing and Fundraising: Identify and pursue grant opportunities, as well as develop and implement fundraising strategies to support organizational growth.
  • Communication and Public Relations: Develop and maintain a positive public image of Community Options and its mission, including media relations and community outreach.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree with five years of related experience in administrative and supervisory roles; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Proven track record of leadership and management experience in a non-profit or related field.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record, and completion of all state and agency required training per state guidelines.
