Job Title: Help Desk Field Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Field Technician to join our team at Raul Yzaguirre School for Success Charter. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to staff, teachers, and external partners, ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide technical support to staff, teachers, and external partners
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with computer hardware and software
* Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software
* Collaborate with the IT partner to ensure seamless technical support
* Develop and maintain documentation for technical procedures

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Associate degree in computer science or related field preferred
* Prior experience in technical support or a related field is beneficial
* Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities
* Ability to learn new technologies quickly

Working Conditions:

* Prolonged computer use with repetitive motion
* Physical tasks such as bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), driving
* Interface with personnel
* Occasional irregular hours
* Onsite support

Terms of Employment:

* Salary and work year determined by Raul Yzaguirre School for Success Charter Board of Trustees

Performance Evaluation:

* Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the IT Supervisor

Additional Notes:

This position closely collaborates with Raul Yzaguirre School for Success Charter's contracted IT partner and provides desktop and application support to staff, teachers, leaders, and external partners. Responsibilities include installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading hardware, software, and related systems.
