Primary Duties:

  • Execute routine cleaning tasks in accordance with facility guidelines
  • Sanitize and maintain state facilities and living quarters
  • Ensure proper upkeep and accountability of cleaning equipment
  • Keep outdoor areas free from litter and debris
  • Assist fellow custodial staff as needed
Core Responsibilities:

Follow designated work schedules and shifts, including potential overtime.

Environmental Upkeep:
Contribute to maintaining a tidy work environment.

Floor Maintenance:
Adhere to protocols for floor cleaning and upkeep, utilizing equipment correctly.

Restroom Hygiene:
Thoroughly clean and disinfect restrooms to mitigate illness risks, ensuring safety for all.

Living Space Maintenance:
Ensure that residents' living areas are clean and safe, including changing linens and removing trash.

Regularly inspect and report maintenance needs for assigned facilities, ensuring a secure environment.

Uphold cleanliness standards to prevent the spread of illness in designated areas.

Prioritize health and safety protocols, fostering a secure environment for everyone.

Complete necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Be ready to assist in emergency response situations as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of cleaning practices and regulations
  • Experience with cleaning machinery
  • Ability to follow directions accurately
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable with prolonged standing or walking
  • Team-oriented attitude towards colleagues and residents
