Key Responsibilities of a Sanitation Technician:
- Thoroughly maintain and clean various floor surfaces, which includes sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Adhere to established procedures for utilizing chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage to floors and surrounding areas.
- Regularly clean, monitor, and maintain restrooms, fitting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
- Efficiently empty trash receptacles for proper disposal, utilizing compactors for specific materials as needed.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
- Perform spot cleaning on carpets and assist with carpet extraction and shampooing tasks.
- Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies as necessary.
- Follow the established housekeeping schedule diligently.
- Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
- Complete other assigned duties as required by the scope of work or client needs.
Qualifications for Success:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Demonstrate reliability and dependability.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Able to pass a drug test when required.
- Prior cleaning experience is advantageous.
Position Details:
- Part-Time - 30 hours per week.
- Flexible schedule from Monday to Sunday.
- Compensation up to $13.00 per hour.
