As a Maintenance Technician at Firstmark Credit Union, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to perform assigned maintenance work to maintain the highest possible standard of our offices and buildings. This includes performing routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and urgent work assignments. You will also be responsible for responding to 24/7 emergencies as required.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform Maintenance Work: Perform assigned maintenance work, including preventive maintenance, routine maintenance, and urgent work assignments. This will include but not be limited to, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, general mechanical repairs, carpentry work, etc.
- Troubleshoot and Maintain Systems: Troubleshoot, maintain, and perform routine electrical work such as changing lamps and ballasts, fixtures, switches, etc. Troubleshoot, maintain, and perform routine HVAC work such as system checks, change belts and filters, etc.
- Facilities Maintenance: Perform a variety of routine services and repair operations to the facility itself, common equipment, furnishings, and fixtures.
- Compliance and Safety: Perform all facilities functions in accordance with NEC, NFPA, and OSHA regulations and local city codes.
- Urgency and Prioritization: Possess an extreme sense of urgency in ensuring production and support equipment remain operational. Prioritize jobs and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Internal Support: Provide the highest level of internal service and support and find the best solutions in resolving day-to-day problems and issues presented by employees, members, and vendors, etc.
- Service Vehicle and Fleet Support: Responsible for service vehicle and provide support with company fleet vehicles.
- ServiceNow Ticket System: Maintain ServiceNow ticket system. Update assigned tickets daily.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other projects and duties as assigned. Assist team members with room set up, special functions, and events.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 to 5 years previous experience in building maintenance. HVAC certification required. Texas electrician license or San Antonio electrical maintenance technician registration preferred. Plumber certification a plus.
- Professionalism and Communication: Must always project a professional appearance and attitude. Must communicate with co-workers and members with professionalism and respect.
- Ethical Attributes: Must exhibit excellent ethical attributes.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with various hand and power tools. Possession of a valid Texas driver's license and an excellent driving record.
- Computer Skills: Familiar with Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Computerized Building Automation software.
- Work Schedule: Basic schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Must be able to work occasional overtime and/or off-shift hours when required. Respond to emergency calls 24/7.
- Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel to Firstmark financial centers across San Antonio & outlying areas daily.
- Physical Demands: At times may be required to work outdoors in inclement weather, perform rooftop work, and work in confined spaces. Must be able to climb ladders. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
