Business Office Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Office Manager to join our team at Real Property Services Corp. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Business Office Assistant team, compiling and analyzing financial information, and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial functions.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the Business Office Assistant team member and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Compile and analyze financial information, including invoices and accounts payable aging reports.
- Monitor and prepare monthly accounts payable aging reports.
- Interact with vendors, settle disputes, and advise the Business Office Coordinator or Administrator of issues requiring further resolution.
- Ensure that appropriate authorization is obtained to prepare checks and that only approved checks are cut and mailed.
- Ensure proper accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
- Address financial information with residents' responsible parties prior to admission to the facility.
- Assist residents' families with all financial questions.
- Attend weekly Medicare meetings.
- Prepare and send out medical billings, private pay billings, and Medicare billings.
- Long-term care experience preferred.
- Some previous accounting courses helpful.
- Must have spreadsheet and word document experience.
- Must be a supportive team member, willing to contribute and be an example of teamwork and team concept.
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
