The Role

As a Product Manager of the Digital Grid Management (DGM) Product Suite, you will be responsible for product life cycle planning and execution, including defining and maintaining our SCADA and Communications products. In this role, you will have the following opportunities and responsibilities:

  • Develop a growth strategy for AspenTech's DGM SCADA and Communications Product Suite based on industry needs.
  • Manage product line marketing collateral documentation.
  • Own the product launch process and customer education for new products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and contractors.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge in specific areas and manage complex situations and critical projects.
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers, Development Leads, Product Engineers and Subject Matter Expert teams across the various Product Suites to plan, create, and maintain product offerings.
What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years of product management, business marketing and/or technical experience, preferably within the electric utilities industry.
  • Experience with and general knowledge of SCADA software.
  • Experience performing market research and technical analysis to define customer product needs.
  • Experience conducting presentations at industry events.
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Ability to commute to one of our US offices according to our hybrid office schedule.
  • Ability to travel (up to 20%).
