**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Practice Administrator to join our team at Orthopaedic Specialty Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare administration and be able to provide exceptional support to our physicians and staff.

Responsibilities:

Scheduling & Coordination

  • Schedule patient appointments and manage physician schedules in accordance with office protocol
  • Coordinate meetings for assigned physicians and ensure timely scheduling

Communication

  • Answer telephone calls in a professional manner and direct calls to the appropriate individuals or departments
  • Triage phone calls and respond to messages in a timely manner

Record Keeping

  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including correspondence and files
  • Prepare correspondence and reports as directed by physicians and administration

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; prior healthcare experience required
  • Minimum of five years of experience as an administrative assistant in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records

The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $68,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits and paid time off.
