Clinical Support Specialist

**About the Role:**
We are seeking a talented Clinical Support Specialist to join our team at Orthopaedic Specialty Group. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our physicians and staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice.
Responsibilities:
Scheduling & Patient Coordination
- Schedule patient appointments and manage physician schedules in accordance with office protocol
- Coordinate meetings for assigned physicians and ensure timely scheduling
Communication & Telephone Skills
- Answer telephone calls in a professional manner and direct calls to the appropriate individuals or departments
- Triage phone calls and respond to messages in a timely manner
Record Keeping & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including correspondence and files
- Prepare correspondence and reports as directed by physicians and administration
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; prior healthcare experience required
- Minimum of five years of experience as an administrative assistant in a healthcare setting
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits and paid time off.
