The Keene Day Care Center seeks a highly skilled Childcare Nutrition Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This is a full-time position responsible for preparing and serving healthy meals to 90 children and 20 staff members. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, preferably in childcare or institutional settings, and possess strong organizational and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and restrictions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to local and state regulations.
  • Order food and supplies to ensure an efficient and well-stocked kitchen operation.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to meet the nutritional needs of the children.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in food service, preferably in childcare or institutional settings.
  • Basic math skills for measuring and portioning ingredients.
  • Ability to pass a full background check and health screening.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Ten paid sick/personal days per year.
