About the Job

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Early Childhood Care Specialist to support the work of our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for creating a safe, enjoyable, and culturally aware environment that promotes learning and development in children. You will work closely with parents and other team members to ensure a high-quality experience for all participants.

Responsibilities

  • Create a positive and engaging environment for children, focusing on their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and fun.
  • Maintain accurate records of child attendance, behavior, and progress.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and team members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 16 years of age.
  • CPR, First Aid, and Mandatory Safety Training certifications within 45 days of hire.
  • Child Abuse Prevention training and Y applicable training within 7 days of hire.
  • A certificate in DEI or extensive training and work experience (preferred).
  • At least 5 years of experience in a childcare setting (preferred).
  • 2+ years' experience in implementing age-appropriate activities (preferred).

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $12.18-$14.62 per hour. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as paid time off and opportunities for professional growth and development.
