Position Overview:
AEG is seeking motivated individuals to join our Corporate Partnerships Intern program. This role will involve supporting sales initiatives, assisting with client engagement, and contributing to the overall partnership strategy. Interns will work closely with the designated property to facilitate the sales cycle, identify potential corporate partners, and engage in creative marketing efforts to enhance partnership visibility. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in sports marketing and corporate relations within a vibrant athletic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Program:
  • Engage in a structured training initiative aimed at providing in-depth knowledge of the corporate partnership sales framework.
  • Learn from industry experts through interactive sessions, presentations, and personalized coaching.
  • Develop a solid understanding of sales methodologies, negotiation techniques, and best practices for establishing and finalizing corporate partnerships.
Sales Support:
  • Assist the Corporate Partnership Team in the sales process by researching and identifying potential local corporate sponsors.
  • Participate in outreach activities to prospective partners through various communication channels.
  • Support the development of sales presentations and proposals.
Decision-Making Involvement:
  • Actively contribute to brainstorming sessions and strategic discussions regarding potential new corporate partners.
  • Provide insights and evaluations to assess the viability of prospective partnerships.
Creative Marketing:
  • Assist in crafting innovative marketing strategies and campaigns to promote partnerships and increase partner visibility.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to produce promotional materials and digital content.
Game Day Fulfillment and Activation:
  • Help coordinate game day activities related to corporate partnerships, including signage and promotional events.
  • Work with various departments to ensure successful execution of partner activations during events.
  • Assist in managing hospitality areas for corporate partners and ensuring their satisfaction during events.
Administrative Support:
  • Maintain accurate records of partnership activities and communications.
  • Assist in compiling reports and analyzing the effectiveness of partnership initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Strong interest in sales, marketing, and the sports industry, with aspirations to pursue a career in corporate partnerships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and collaborate effectively.
