Job Title: Real World Data Analytics Manager

Job Summary:

Vertex is seeking a highly skilled Real World Data Analytics Manager to join our team. As a key member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for executing statistical analysis plans, evaluating database selection, and providing analytic input to patient population selection and medical code search.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute statistical analysis plans to support observational research
  • Evaluate and provide input to database selection, patient population selection, and statistical analysis plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to advance RWE research approaches and analytic tools
  • Support staff with new software, programming techniques, and databases
  • Stay current on RWE research approaches, related disease area knowledge, and analytic tools

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, math, data science, or similar disciplines
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in observational research within the life sciences industry or relevant academic, government, or consulting environment
  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud platforms, data analysis methods, data management, and data visualization
  • Proficiency in SAS programming and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing, diverse, and matrix environment
