Job Description

Overview:

Rumble Boxing Montvale is seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Studio Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities and delivering exceptional service to our members.

Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Address member inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Offer tours of the facility and communicate membership options and benefits.
Studio Operations:
  • Assist in opening and closing procedures, ensuring the studio is clean, organized, and fully operational.
  • Manage class schedules, instructor assignments, and studio bookings.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
Sales and Marketing:
  • Assist in implementing sales and marketing initiatives to attract new members and retain existing ones.
  • Support in developing and maintaining relationships with corporate partners, local businesses, and community organizations.
  • Promote studio events, challenges, and special promotions to increase member engagement.
Training and Development:
  • Assist in training and onboarding new staff members.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to instructors and front desk staff to ensure they deliver exceptional service.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, fitness techniques, and safety protocols.
Administrative Tasks:
  • Handle transactions, process memberships, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with payroll processing, scheduling, and staff communications.
  • Prepare reports on key performance indicators, membership trends, and revenue goals.
Safety and Compliance:
  • Enforce studio policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all members and staff.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections and address any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including COVID-19 protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a fitness or hospitality environment preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with fitness software is a plus.
  • CPR and first aid certification preferred.
  • Passion for fitness and a willingness to learn and grow in the industry.
