Job Title: Day Shift Laborer

Location: Washington DC

Pay: $27.78 prevailing wage

Position Summary:

This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or carpentry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reading and understanding construction documents, blueprints, and specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, and prepare materials for trim and molding installations.
  • Support the team in reading and understanding construction documents, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Construct and repair building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
  • Apply finishes to surfaces, such as sealing, caulking, staining, and varnishing.
  • Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and safe, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of previous experience
  • Ability to work 6:30 PM to 4:30 AM
