We are currently seeking a warm, customer-oriented, and diligent Driver to join our esteemed retirement community, The Montecito Senior Living.

The selected Driver will be responsible for the secure transportation of our residents to various locations, including appointments and community activities, while providing assistance with safe boarding as needed. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, reliable, and courteous transportation services for residents to various essential locations, including medical facilities, grocery stores, and educational institutions.
  • Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle, utilizing mobility aids as necessary; manage doors and assist with loading/unloading mobility devices.
  • Prioritize resident safety and satisfaction, ensuring all residents are accounted for during departures and arrivals.
  • Prepare the vehicle for operation and oversee necessary maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with local and state regulations regarding vehicle licensing and insurance.
  • Adhere to transportation safety protocols and rules of the road.
  • Maintain a valid driving license in accordance with state laws to perform transportation duties.
  • Support resident engagement activities and assist with event preparations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A collaborative team player with a genuine passion for serving seniors.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Experience operating larger vehicles or a combination of relevant experience and training.
  • A valid state driver's license (or a CDL if required by local regulations).
  • Clean driving history.
  • Preferred experience of at least one year in transportation services, ideally within the senior living or healthcare sectors, demonstrating a strong commitment to customer service.
