We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our Valley Metro Fixed Route Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of our industry and drive business growth.
About the Role:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective delivery of transportation services.
- Act as the internal liaison between departments and clients to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Lead a team of employees and provide coaching, guidance, and training to ensure their success.
- Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of MTM Transit's departments and compliance programs.
- Monitor performance and provide feedback to direct reports.
- Perform additional duties as assigned or required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- At least 7-10+ years of experience managing or providing key leadership support for a large-sized, profitable operations team in a multimillion-dollar contract environment.
- Experience managing a site of 100+ employees.
- Experience monitoring the delivery of contractual services.
- Valid current driver's license.
- Previous management experience in the transportation or logistics industries.
- Prior contract and/or project management experience.
- Competitive salary range: $107,120 - $160,680 annually.
