Avery Products Corporation is seeking a skilled Research and Development Laboratory Specialist to support our Research & Development team. The ideal candidate will prepare test samples and materials, measure performance, and record and analyze data to ensure accurate and timely testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory operations with minimal supervision, focusing on evaluating the physical properties of various products.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of analytical equipment and solvents, ensuring efficient and accurate testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Product Technology, Supply Chain, Quality, and Marketing, to deliver project results.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for product improvement.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, summarizing data and findings to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of laboratory operations and analytical equipment.
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as chemistry or materials science.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
