About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our Industrial team as an on-site employee. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and supporting manufacturing processes, researching customer specifications, and collaborating with shopfloor personnel to troubleshoot daily manufacturing issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and support manufacturing processes for new products and make updates to existing processes.
  • Research customer specifications and new processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot shop floor processes, tools, and equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Design tooling for new and improving existing processes to improve product quality and reduce costs.
  • Interact with customers, operators, sales reps, and vendors to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Evaluate data and product specifications to determine feasibility of product proposals.
  • Create presentations for projects to effectively communicate ideas and solutions.
  • Perform root cause analysis on MRB data using Excel to identify and resolve issues.
  • Apply Lean principles to develop more efficient processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 3+ years of engineering experience.
  • Working knowledge of CAD software, with SolidWorks highly preferred.
  • Experience with surface processing, heat treat, and familiarity with ISO 9000 or AS9100 quality standards.
  • Knowledge of GD&T, fixturing, and gaging methods, as well as process capability.
  • Experience in machining or metal forming, with fastener technology involving nuts, bolts, and screws highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including tables, graphs, and filters to collect and analyze data.
