Facilities Maintenance Engineer
Direct Hire; $19 - $22 p/hr
Job Overview:
We are in search of a proficient Facilities Maintenance Engineer to enhance our operational capabilities.
Your primary responsibilities will include executing a variety of maintenance functions to uphold the efficiency and safety of our properties. The ideal candidate will possess a solid maintenance background with a minimum of 3 years of practical experience. Proficiency in light carpentry, patching, and painting is essential.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel to multiple properties throughout the work week; properties are located in various areas (responsibility for 8 properties; mileage reimbursement provided).
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precise repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to effectively diagnose and address issues.
- Able to work collaboratively with other team members to complete maintenance projects efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Replace and repair building finishes including ceiling tiles, doors, and door hardware; apply wallpaper, paint walls, replace ballasts and light bulbs, and perform power washing and grounds maintenance.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using property management software.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and keep a clean and organized work environment.
- Respond to service requests as assigned.
- Conduct light framing and carpentry tasks.
