We are in search of a driven accountant to become a key member of the Controllers Group as a Principal Accounting Associate, focusing on the execution of various projects. This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing multiple tasks and adhering to deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. The Controllers Group plays a crucial role in the financial implementation of new products, services, and systems, offering numerous opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for various projects, overseeing them from the planning stage through to delivery and stabilization.
  • Lead and support the development, testing, and implementation of project specifications.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams across the organization on multiple corporate initiatives.
  • Ensure the consistent application of Agile methodologies in project delivery.
  • Present findings, risks, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Drive process improvements through project development and knowledge sharing.
  • Engage in significant corporate projects, including technology and data transformation, process enhancements, and business initiatives.
  • Work with internal and external partners to address issues and maintain awareness of process or product changes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent military experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, accounting system integration, audit, or finance.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and reconciliation systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the banking or finance sector.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in Agile project management.
  • Experience with Jira for project tracking.
  • At least 2 years of data analysis experience using tools such as Tableau, Python, or SQL.
