Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at CareNow. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and obtaining medical histories
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
- Assist physicians with procedures, including injections and lab testing
- Coordinate patient physicals and work-related injuries for partner accounts
- Screen incoming calls and refer patients to physicians and practitioners as needed
- 1+ year of experience in a clinical patient setting
- Experience using an EHR system
- Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assisting or completion of an approved program
- Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is preferred
