- Develop and implement complex laboratory research procedures, requiring specialized experience in several areas of laboratory investigation.
- Oversee laboratory supplies and expenses, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Develop and apply standard quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of test results, providing valuable insights for research evaluation and recommendations.
- Participate in meetings with the principal investigator and staff to evaluate and interpret data, determine methodologies, and evaluate laboratory procedures.
- Analyze data using statistical methodologies, producing graphic results as needed.
- Provide individualized instruction and training to laboratory staff, undergraduate/graduate students, medical students, and residents.
- Operate, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on specialized equipment, training laboratory staff as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Communicate with researchers in other laboratories, sharing ideas and research methodologies to improve research effectiveness.
- Ph.D. degree in a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of biology, chemistry, mathematics, documentation, and records management.
- Data utilization, complex problem-solving, critical thinking, resource management, and writing skills.
Competitive compensation package, commensurate with experience.
