Culinary Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced culinary professional to lead our kitchen operations in Woodbridge, VA.
Estimated Salary: $21 - $21.75 per hour
About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires flexible scheduling and a strong team leadership presence. As a Culinary Operations Manager at Wegmans Food Markets, you will oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, manage employee performance, and ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Sous Chef in running the kitchen and leading employees
- Follow recipes and proper cooking techniques to maintain high standards
- Share your knowledge and passion for food with customers and employees
- Manage employee performance by providing resources, training, feedback, and development opportunities
Requirements
- 2 or more years' experience as a prep or line cook
- Experience leading a team
- Food safety and quality assurance knowledge
