Role Responsibilities

As an Imaging Registered Nurse (RN), your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough patient assessments and developing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
  • Administering medications and performing treatments in accordance with established protocols.
  • Providing pre- and post-operative care to patients.
  • Educating patients and their families about care procedures and treatment options.
  • Utilizing equipment safely and effectively within the Interventional Short Stay Unit.
  • Facilitating discharge planning in coordination with the care team.

Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required, with telemetry experience being essential. Recent experience in intermediate critical care is preferred.

Education:

An Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program is required, while a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

Licensure and Certifications:

A current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or a Compact Registered Nursing License is necessary. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
