Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team at Delphinus Engineering. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for fabricating, installing, removing, modifying, and repairing piping and hoses, as well as laying out, templating, and targeting pipe for welding/brazing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate, install, remove, modify, and repair piping and hoses, including P2 and P3 piping systems.
  • Lay out, template, and target pipe for welding/brazing.
  • Maintain steam plant cleanliness and utilize precision measuring instruments.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience working in a shipyard or ship repair environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, written technical instructions, and manuals.
  • Lead and supervise the implementation of technical instructions and manuals.
  • Prospective employees must be a US Citizen with a clean background and able to pass a drug screen.
  • Experience working on all classes of ships (CVN, CG, DDG, SSN) is a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalence is required.
  • Ability to obtain DBIDS is required.
