Job Title: Administrative Assistant - Program Support

We are seeking an experienced administrative assistant to provide administrative, technical, and programmatic support at the DEVCOM Chemical Biological Center (CBC) to support the Research and Operations Directorate's missions, functions, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Branch Chief, Principal Investigators, and other team members with budget and programmatic inquiries.
  • Proactively manage developing solutions by providing support to senior administration and management personnel.
  • Provide financial data and record-keeping.
  • Manage and oversee MIPRs (Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests) and ATAAPS (Automated Time Attendance and Production System).
  • Establish a record of scheduling and prepare meeting arrangements.
  • Maintain meeting minute captures/follow-up.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of relevant work experience, particularly in the area of DoD engineering or programmatic support.
  • Experience with GFEBS (General Fund Enterprise Business System).
  • Experience with providing financial data and record-keeping.
  • Experience in managing and overseeing MIPRs (Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests) and ATAAPS (Automated Time Attendance and Production System).
  • Established record of scheduling and preparing meeting arrangements.
  • Record keeping and meeting minute captures/follow-up.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office suite software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced experience with Army-specific policies and requirements.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and record-keeping.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Advanced experience with GFEBS (General Fund Enterprise Business System).
  • Advanced experience with MIPRs (Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests) and ATAAPS (Automated Time Attendance and Production System).
