Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Information Specialist to join our team at South Middlesex Opportu. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Childcare/Head Start center in Framingham.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, families, and community members through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including data entry, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and running reports.
  • Assist with collection of fees from program parents and maintain accurate records.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, buzz in guests, and maintain communication with school bus drivers.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and achieve program goals.
  • Perform other office duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Working Conditions:

The normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:30am-6:00pm, with some flexibility required. A successful background check is required.
