Position Overview

  • Guarantee that brand and operational standards consistently meet or exceed expectations to uphold brand integrity.
  • Analyze store performance metrics and team dynamics to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain optimal staffing levels to effectively meet store demands.
  • Adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures, including HR regulations and legal standards.
  • Foster positive relationships with the Store Manager, team members, and brand partners to clarify priorities and share insights.
  • Manage payroll effectively to enhance productivity and achieve financial goals.
  • Provide strong leadership to ensure sales generation and operational functions are executed efficiently, resulting in high customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Actively participate in the recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding processes to attract top talent.
  • Deliver comprehensive training for Sales Associates, focusing on product knowledge and the unique features of our offerings.
  • Oversee the performance of Sales Associates, providing constructive feedback and coaching to drive improvement.
  • Encourage a positive work environment where all team members are treated with fairness and respect.
  • Educate the team on building customer loyalty through various in-store initiatives, including design services and community engagement programs.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Preferred: College degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of management experience in the specialty retail sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, as well as POS systems.
  • Strong communication, delegation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Open-minded and eager to learn new methodologies and skills.
  • Physical capability to remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50lbs.
  • Occasional travel may be required to support new store openings.
  • Comfortable with climbing ladders and maintaining a positive demeanor in a customer-focused environment.
