Job Title: Clinical Psychologist I

Join the County of Los Angeles, CA, as a Clinical Psychologist I and contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services. As a member of our team, you will work closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address client goals and objectives.
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in mental health.
Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree in psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • California licensure as a psychologist or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
