We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Converge HR Solutions. As a key member of our accounting team, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial management of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Process payment receipts and bank deposits in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with Accounts Payable by reviewing invoices and obtaining proper approvals before processing payments.
- Reconcile company Direct Bill commission statements to ensure accurate payments are received.
- Assist clients with direct bill payment questions.
- Process payments to insurance carriers through account current statements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Controller to support the accounting team and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- A minimum of two (2) years of bookkeeping and/or accounting assistant experience is preferred.
- Previous experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable is helpful.
- Highly organized and relentless attention to detail.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills to accurately record financial transactions and reconcile accounts.
- Good problem-solving and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with team members and external stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing market conditions and business priorities.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
