ResponsibilitiesThe HR Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our human resources department. Key responsibilities include:
- Verifying new hire credentials, background checks, and licenses
- Preparing offer letters, sending required paperwork, and following up with applicants
- Prescreening candidates for specific jobs
- Tracking new hire results for physicals and drug testing
- Preparing new hire onboarding packages and paperwork
- Maintaining personnel files, training records, and I-9 verification logs
- Updating HRIS and Time and Attendance systems with employment status changes
- Maintaining a secure and organized filing system
- Performing administrative tasks, such as making copies, preparing mail, and scanning invoices
- Maintaining company bulletin boards to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local posting requirements
- Retrieving information or data as required through standard web browsers and other resources
- Tracking office supply and uniform inventories and ordering as needed
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma, with an Associate's Degree in medical office management or HR Certification preferred
- A minimum of one to two years of HR experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
