Job Overview

LHH Recruitment Solutions is collaborating with a manufacturing organization in search of a Lead Financial Analyst for a temporary engagement anticipated to span several months.


Compensation: $45-$50 per hour.

Key Competencies:
Extensive expertise in monthly financial closures, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.

Role Purpose:
Serve as a crucial support resource, ensuring robust controls and providing essential data for executive decision-making.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Supervise accounts receivable: manage invoice processing, track cash inflows, and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Oversee monthly account closures and reconciliations.
  • Manage billing schedules for large-scale equipment projects, including charges for installation and freight services.
  • Gather data to support the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with order backlog and cash flow forecasts.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and tax documentation.
  • Foster and implement continuous improvement initiatives, introducing and integrating new procedures as necessary.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience.
  • Communication: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, as well as with external partners and clients.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Crystal Reports; familiarity with Dynamics 365 and Power BI is a plus.
  • Specialized Knowledge: A solid grasp of cost accounting principles is preferred.
