Job Summary

Clover Park Technical College is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Services Attendant to join our team. As an Event Services Attendant, you will be responsible for setting up and tearing down events, maintaining the cleanliness of event spaces, and providing general support to event staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup and teardown of events, including arranging tables, chairs, stages, podiums, dance floors, decorations, props, and other items needed for events
  • Maintain the cleanliness of event spaces, including event spaces, restrooms, grounds, and public areas
  • Assist in reporting any repairs needed to the supervisor
  • Follow through on lost and found procedures when conducting post-event tear downs
  • Assist in placement and removal of A/V equipment per the direction of event staff
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work within a team to complete a variety of tasks and remain flexible under pressure
  • Awareness and sensitivity to cultural and other differences when working with partner organizations, volunteers, vendors, and the general public
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as assigned when needed, including late weekday evenings, early weekday mornings, and weekends for special events
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in the hospitality and event industry
  • Prior custodial or setup experience
