Job Title: Leasing Agent

Indigo Real Estate Services is seeking a highly motivated and organized Leasing Agent to join our team. As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for coordinating all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide intensive, professional customer service to prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and ensure resident retention.
  • Welcome and assist current and prospective residents and customers in a welcoming and helpful manner.
  • Respond promptly to walk-in, telephone, and email inquiries.
  • Guide scheduled and unscheduled tours of the property.
  • Prepare lease and lease renewal documentation.
  • Assist in coordinating resident/community events and gatherings.
  • Assist in coordinating resident/community maintenance service requests.
  • Record required data accurately and timely using Yardi Property Management software.
  • Prepare and generate documents and reports, manage routine processes and correspondence.
  • Collaborate to support property marketing strategies consistent with established procedures.
  • Assist in coordinating and updating advertisements and listings, especially via third-party Independent Listing Services (ILS).
  • Provide general administrative support for the Business Manager and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in affordable housing/LIHTC multi-family property preferred.
  • Experience in sales or administrative and accounting assistance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise quick and accurate judgment and maintain confidentiality.
  • Effective conflict resolution and customer service skills.
  • Ability to set priorities and multitask with a strong attention to detail.
