El Camino Health is seeking a highly skilled Nursing Educator to provide educational services to clinical staff and demonstrate clinical expertise and knowledge of unit(s) served.
Key Responsibilities- Assess knowledge gaps and develop educational programs to address these gaps.
- Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs.
- Provide clinical expertise and knowledge to clinical staff.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement educational initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- At least 24 months of recent clinical nursing experience.
- Two years of experience in the specialty area.
- CA Registered Nurse - California Board of Registered Nursing.
- Basic Lifesaving Certification - American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association.
- Demonstrated ability to produce results and coordinate projects.
- Working knowledge of Title XXII and The Joint Commission regulations.
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Medium Work - Requires standing the majority of the shift with the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. frequently. Work involves sitting, kneeling, climbing, and squatting.
