We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team at Kimpton Palladian Hotel. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities- Register and check-out guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage PBX operations, mail, and message services
- Provide accurate and complete information to guests and other departments
- Conduct pre-assignment of hotel rooms, including VIPs, repeat guests, and special requests
- Follow established key control policy and ensure proper credit policies are followed
- Submit lost and found articles with a completed report
- Balance daily shift bank, verifying cash, check, and credit card transactions
- Monitor room availability and review daily selling status using yield management system
- Communicate with other departments, including Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, Bell Staff, and Valet
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer-facing role preferred
- Knowledge of the immediate area, services, attractions, and events
- Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple arrivals and departures
- Familiarity with hotel systems and operations, and ability to enter information accurately
