About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team at Kimpton Palladian Hotel. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register and check-out guests in a professional and friendly manner
  • Manage PBX operations, mail, and message services
  • Provide accurate and complete information to guests and other departments
  • Conduct pre-assignment of hotel rooms, including VIPs, repeat guests, and special requests
  • Follow established key control policy and ensure proper credit policies are followed
  • Submit lost and found articles with a completed report
  • Balance daily shift bank, verifying cash, check, and credit card transactions
  • Monitor room availability and review daily selling status using yield management system
  • Communicate with other departments, including Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, Bell Staff, and Valet
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer-facing role preferred
  • Knowledge of the immediate area, services, attractions, and events
  • Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple arrivals and departures
  • Familiarity with hotel systems and operations, and ability to enter information accurately
