About the Role

As a Clinical RN at Providence Health & Services, you will provide high-quality patient care as directed by the Washington State Nurse Practice Act and Pacific Medical Centers policies, procedures, and protocols. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver primary and specialty health care services, integrating the nursing roles of clinical, teaching, consulting, care coordination/case management, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients, utilizing a systematic approach to nursing practice and incorporating the principles of the Nursing Process.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of nursing.
  • Contribute to a culture of patient-focused, whole-person care by demonstrating empathy, compassion, and respect for each patient's values and preferences.
Requirements
  • Nursing degree (Baccalaureate, Associate, or Diploma) from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Washington Registered Nurse License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 1 year of recent RN experience in a patient care setting or clinical environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of recent RN experience in a patient care setting in area(s) of responsibility.
  • Recent prior experience in a hospital and outpatient setting.
  • Recent prior experience with phone triage.
