Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist for Level IV Neonatal ICU

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at the University of Washington Medical Center. The successful candidate will provide clinical expertise and leadership to our Level IV Neonatal ICU team, contributing to the advancement of nursing practice and continuous improvement of patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical support and leadership to nursing team members
  • Develop and implement evidence-based protocols and policies to promote clinical standards and practice improvements
  • Contribute to advancing neonatal nursing through sharing expertise and knowledge through publications and presentations
  • Lead quality and patient safety initiatives, and foster collegial relationships with members of the CNS team
  • Maintain certification(s) and participate in continuing education activities

Requirements:

  • Master of Nursing or higher
  • Graduated from an accredited school of Nursing
  • Licensed to practice in the state of WA as an RN
  • Five or more years of nursing experience, including five or more years of recent level IV NICU experience
  • Certification RNC-NIC or CCRN-Neonatal
