Acute Care CNS Clinical Nurse Specialist

Nealy Pierce, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join their team in a System-Wide Acute Care position.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's in Nursing or Doctorate in Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, National Certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, and the ability to obtain an RN License in the State.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist will serve as the Clinical Practice Expert in the delivery of evidence-based nursing, translate theory and evidence to advance the health and knowledge of the patient/family, nurses/practice, and the organization/system, and provide leadership and clinical expertise in the management of complex patient issues.
The position offers a competitive base salary, paid relocation, and potential for a sign-on bonus for experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist, as well as full benefits including M/D/V, 401k, paid time off, paid leave, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Clinical Practice Expert in the delivery of evidence-based nursing.
- Translate theory and evidence to advance the health and knowledge of the patient/family, nurses/practice, and the organization/system.
- Provide leadership and clinical expertise in the management of complex patient issues.
- Partner with leadership to develop and evaluate the delivery of nursing practice.
- Provide leadership and expertise in designing, implementing, and evaluating innovative individual and/or population-based programs of care to achieve desired quality outcomes.
- Establish and monitor care standards and facilitate change(s) in areas of clinical practice based on data analyses.
Requirements:
- Masters in Nursing or Doctorate in Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.
- National Certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (AGCNS-BC, ACCNS-BC, etc).
- Ability to obtain an RN License in the State.
- Ability to obtain a CNS license in the State.
- Two (2) years of Clinical Nurse Specialist experience is preferred, but new grad CNS' will be considered.
- Three (3) years of clinical/bedside nursing experience required, preferably in an acute care area.
