Clinical Nurse Specialist- Critical Care Opportunity

Verovian Healthcare Recruitment Agency is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic team in Seattle, Washington. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Critical Care, you will serve as an expert in evidence-based practice, providing advanced clinical support to the critical care team and helping improve patient outcomes through education, research, and leadership in clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a clinical expert in critical care nursing, offering consultation and guidance to nurses and other healthcare staff.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans for critically ill patients.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient safety, care quality, and outcomes in the critical care unit.
• Facilitate staff development and ongoing education on best practices, new protocols, and advances in critical care nursing.
• Conduct clinical research and apply evidence-based practices to improve patient care.
• Develop and implement clinical protocols, guidelines, and policies to ensure consistency and effectiveness in care delivery.
• Serve as a mentor and resource for nursing staff, fostering professional growth and excellence in critical care practice.
• Monitor patient care outcomes and implement strategies to improve patient safety and care quality.

Requirements:

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Washington.
• Master's degree in Nursing with a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) certification.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of critical care nursing experience, with demonstrated leadership or advanced practice roles.
• In-depth knowledge of critical care nursing standards, protocols, and advanced patient care techniques.
• Strong skills in mentorship, clinical education, and staff development.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
• BLS, ACLS, and other relevant certifications required.
